Popis: | Neither methyl nor ring 14 C-labeled methylnaphthalene shows extensive incorporation into the soluble products produced during coal liquefaction. The two coals utilized in this study showed as high or even a higher conversion at short reaction times in the nondonor 1-methylnaphthalene as in the donor solvent tetralin. The data eliminate significant solvent incorporation as a reason for the high coal conversion in the nondonor solvent |
