Popis: | We demonstrated a novel facile one-pot surfactant-free strategy for synthesis of the hierarchical dahlia-like TiO2/V2O5 composite. Both amorphous TiO2 and V2O5 can uniformly mix to form a hierarchical dahlia-like nanostructure. The adsorption process of TiO2/V2O5 composite toward methylene blue (MB) is considerably fitted by PFO kinetic model. The fitted maximum equilibrium adsorption capacity of MB is circa 501.28 mg/g by Langmuir isotherm model. The mechanisms of MB adsorption on TiO2/V2O5 composite could be composed by physical and electrostatic interaction. The considerable recyclability of TiO2/V2O5 composite after five cycle regeneration rounds suggests that the TiO2/V2O5 composite could be a potential adsorption candidate for MB removal in wastewater. |
