Popis:	We examine the interrelation of biosphere-significant administrative decisions taken by nonbiologist specialists, and the biological their biological literacy. We analyze problems that suffer a lack of practice in scholastic activity as the reasons for functional unpreparedness of students to utilize knowledge in real life. In this connection, the results of international testing of educational achievement of students by PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) are generalized. It is proved that nonbiologist specialists need special training in biology.
