Popis:	Summary Callus was initiated on BM + 2 ppm 2,4-D from excised female gametophyte of Ephedra foliata. Stock cultures were maintained on lower concentration of 2,4-D (1 ppm). Subculture on BM + 2 ppm Kn (auxin free medium) led to the formation of multiple shoots and roots.
