Popis: | Summary In incubation experiments (25 °C, 50 % W.H.C.max.) the mineralization of different amounts of sea sludges was examined and compared with farmyard manure. In a pot experiment the nitrogen utilization was investigated with 10 levels of sea sludge and 8 levels of mineral nitrogen. While after 35 days 43 % of the carbon in the farmyard manure were mineralized, the sea sludges showed between 1.4 and 3.8% only. The supply of nitrogen from the sea sludges is very poor. There is, however, a significant correlation between nitrogen from sea sludge and mineral nitrogen, thus leading to increased utilization of the mineral fertilizer nitrogen. |
