This work proposes a novel family of self-oscillating push-pull class-E/F converters, which has the common features of both class-E and inverse class-F converters. These proposed converters have a self-oscillation scheme and class-E features, incorporating the transistor's parasitic capacitors into the resonant circuit, and thus, having fewer gate-driving circuit components. By flattening the drain-current waveform, the inverse class-F converter can improve the performance and increase the efficiency. The proposed self-oscillating class-E/F power converters are validated with PSpice simulation results. |
