One hundred and fifty (150) pieces of fresh skins from five non-castrated male of Sudan desert breeds were collected from west Sudan (Kordofan state) and east Sudan (Gezira and Butana). The results showed that, Fresh skin weight, elongation, tensile strength , flexibility, cracking and tear load results were significantly affected (P ≥ 0.05) by breed variations. Thickness findings were not significantly affected (P ≥ 0.05) by breed. Moisture, fat and chrome oxide contents findings were significantly affected (P ≥ 0.05) by breed. Whereas, Ash content values were not significantly affected (P ≥ 0.05) by breed variations.
