Sir .—John Matsoukas, MD, in his letter to the editor in the December issue of theJournal(126:860, 1973) lays claim to the paternity of this syndrome on the basis of a "bibliographic certificate of birth."1 I have reviewed their evidence and wish to congratulate these proud fathers on their excellent and complete description of the syndrome in the case report of a 7-year-old boy. I appreciate learning of this earlier report and regret that I did not know of it sooner or I would have given appropriate acknowledgment. |
