Popis:	Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder with localized inflammation primarily located in the cheeks, neck, and chest. Some patients also experience inflammatory papules and pustules. Recent evidence suggests that the inflammation in rosacea may not only be localized but that the inflammation is in fact systemic. Persistent inflammation is known to promote atherosclerosis, in part through increased synthesis of interleukin-6 and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein.
