Popis: 1. A short clinical and radiological description of the Ewing sarcoma is given. 2. The histological nature of these tumours is discussed in some detail. 3. At present radiation therapy is the treatment of choice. 4. It is emphasised that metastases and not the primary tumour are the prognostic factor of importance. 5. The value of such institutions as the Registry of Bone Tumours of the American College of Surgeons is emphasised. 6. Of eight cases of Ewing sarcoma seen by the authors, three are living free from symptoms at the time of writing, for 3¼ years, 20 and 15 months respectively. Protracted-fractional radiation is considered preferable.
