Popis: | Such major implications are involved with the patient and his family following the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, that recognition of its presence must be as precise as possible. The 50 g oral glucose tolerance test appears to be acceptable, but as the test may be influenced by preceding diet, pregnancy, obesity and certain drugs, the criteria for diagnosis must be interpreted in the light of such clinical circumstances. |
