Popis: | The NiWO4 powder crystals were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method. It is found that the morphologies of most of NiWO4 particles are the polyhedron including cube, decahedron and dodecahedron et al. The typical cubic structures show the side length around 3 μm. SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR and UV-vis were employed to characterize the NiWO4 powder crystals. The band gap value of 1.48 eV was calculated according to UV-vis. The NiWO4 powder crystals exhibit high photocatalytic activity toward the degradation of Rh B under both UV and visible irradiations. Especially, under UV, only 17% Rh B remains after 40 min UV photodegradation and only 80 min is needed for the complete degradation. |
