In modern world, when everyone has a smartphone, we have all of the neccessery information close to us. We can "Google" almost everything, from the old classmate to the longest river in Zimbabwe. The results of some studies suggest that when people are faced with difficult question, they are tend to think about computers. Moreover, when they are asked to recall this information, they act better, when they were previously told that they won't have access to it. In other case people tend to remember when the information is stored but not what it is about. The Internet is becoming not only the source of information but also as external memory tool. |
