Popis: | The Article on Education under the UN “Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities” made inclusive education the underlying principle for establishing an inclusive society that excludes no individual. Inclusive education is a child-centered pedagogy and an ongoing process for configuring an educational system based on children's educational needs. As such, we do not have a completed model of inclusive education. To create true inclusive education, it is important to apply the legacy of former special education to understand a child and his/her development from many aspects. This view obtained in special education is consistent with inclusive education. Avoiding simple and direct links between the disability name and the child, understanding of the child is indeed the basis for child-centered education. We need to use “reasonable accommoda-tion” to achieve this with inclusive education. |
