Popis: | Treatment of bullous lupus usually involves co-managing the patient who has systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with their treating lupus specialist. As bullous SLE is rare, evidence is mainly expert based with only a few case reports and small case series as guidance. Dapsone is overwhelmingly the most successful therapy, often in addition to the patient’s corticosteroids. Other adjunctive treatments include hydroxychloroquine, azathioprine, mycophenolate, and cyclophosphamide. |
