Popis: | Aneurysmal bone cysts are usually located on the stem of a long bone or spine and its location in unusual gnathic bones, with approximately 2% reported in the jaws. We report a case of a 26-year-old female feoderm patient who presented a volume increase, around 15 cm, in the region of the chin. Imaging showed the presence of an extensive hypodense area in the region of chin with reabsorptions of the buccal and lingual cortices extends from the UD. 45 to UD. 35, showing reabsorption of dental roots of UDs. 43, 32, 33, 34, and 35. An incisional biopsy was performed, the result of which was descriptive of a fusocellular lesion composed of wavy cells exhibiting multinucleated giant cells. We chose to perform surgical resection of the lesion with prototyping and subsequent reconstruction plaque reconstruction. The histopathological reported was of aneurysmal bone cyst. The procedure will be repeated every 6 months. |
