| Popis: | Results of the use of thunderstorm registry LS8000 in the North Caucasus for definition of parametres of lightning categories on the earth of positive and negative polarity are stated. The average value of an impulse of the lightning category brought on the earth makes the negative category 16,8 kA. For the positive lightning categories the average value of a current amplitude has made 22,9 kA. It is shown that with the increase in height of district above sea level value of a current amplitude decreases. Average value of current amplitude in flat and steppe zones on territory of the North Caucasus makes nearby 23 kA, and in a mountain part - 14 kA. Distributions of various polarity currents and the characteristic of distributions are received. Statistical characteristics of distributions of time of currents increase of different polarity are measured. For positive categories the increase time of a current wave of the first impulse has made 13,3 mks. For negative lightnings it has made 11,6 mks. Comparisons of the received data with measurements of the other methods are made. |
