Popis: | This paper shows that results obtained from extracting definitions in computational lexicography, often have a high recall but a low precision. Herein, we present an improved, automated, rule-based analytical definitions extraction method that uses hypernym identification. This kind of definitions allow us to improve the stateof-the-art precision reported in definitions extracting. Furthermore, this method incorporates a hypernyms extraction module, which has proven to be a necessary first step for generating automated definitions. |
