Popis:	Automated perimetry is a method which has largely proved its utility in the diagnosis and follow-up of certain ophthalmic pathologies1–3, as well as its functional repercussions4–6. We carried out a randomized prospective study to assess the variations in the retinal sensitivity with automated perimetry in two groups of population affected by a macular epiretinal membrane. We performed a vitrectomy with a membrane peeling in one group, while we kept the other group under observation.
