Popis: | The friction and transfer of various semi-crystalline polymers were studied in several experiments. The cylindrical surfaces of polymers were slid over glass plates at low speed and under constant load. The kinetic friction of PTFE in repeated traverses did not vary with the number of traverses and the transfer of PTFE occurred successively on previously transferred PTFE films.
