Popis: | As is the case in other countries, France is concerned with the training of landscape architects and planners capable of handling contemporary landscape problems. Rapid urban development over the past 25 years has brought about changes, not only in methods of designing and maintaining public parks and gardens in France, but also in urban and rural regional planning. This new scale of activities has modified the nature of problems faced by the landscape architect in his daily practice, and, consequently, the training methods and programs used to educate landscape planning specialists. |
