Popis:	The electron impact induced fragmentations of the endo- and exo-octahydro-4,7-methano-1H-indene systems have been studied. The principal decomposition reactions have been elucidated by deuterium labelling. Two generic fragmentation patterns appeared: one involved the bisection of the molecule and the second involved the loss of various alkyl fragments.
