The low-temperature thermoelectric power and resistivity measurements of the preceding paper on dilute AuY, AuZr, AuNb, AuRh and AuPd alloys are analysed in a free-electron model to give s, p and d scattering phase shifts. The virtual bound-state parameters obtained from this analysis show that the lowering of the position in going through the Au-4d series from AuY to AuPd is accompanied by a strong decrease of the width. |
