Popis: This is an applied study on the management of communication for development, carried out in non-profit organizations in Ecuador. The main objective is to understand how the communication processes are efective in the NGO's context and how this process influences in a positive change. The research starts with the concepts of the theory of modernization, communication for development, based on bibliographic review, documentary and experiential research. Practical positions are an element of progress and visibility for organizations that the main objective is to help people in different areas. The communication is interpersonal, in spite of the fact that other modalities and instruments existed. The participation of 58 organizations allowed us to validate the importance and necessity of communication management for development.
