Popis: The transport sector continues to be one of the sources with the greatest contribution of greenhouse gases, the main cause of global warming that has been progressively manifesting with warmer and unpredictable climates. For that was designed, implemented and tested a vehicle powered by solar energy, which contains a system of energy storage for powering an engine and produce the movement of a structure for a specific time, taking into account the incidence of solar light and the charge and discharge of the battery that is the power supply for the structure, taking as priority parameters: the voltage, current, time of charge and discharge of the battery, keeping in mind the construction of the mechanical component, the dimensions and adequate weight for the proper functioning of the vehicle. The operating voltage of the system that is defined in 47.65V, which is because we decided to occupy an energy storage system with 320.21 W, with a velocity 38.50 Km/h in the time of 10:00 hours. The vehicle was designed with a photovoltaic system with traction and electric body drive, the construction was carried out in the facilities of the National University of Juliaca and the tests in the center of the city of Juliaca-Peru.
