Invariant line theory and the crystallography of L12-(Al,Ag)3Ti phase in Ag-modified L10-TiAl based intermetallic

Popis: The method of crystallographic calculation of L1 2 -(Al, Ag) 3 Ti phase in a L1 0 -TiAl(Ag) intermetallic compound with a nominal composition of Ti–54 at.%Al–4 at.%Ag has been introduced based on the three-dimensional invariant line strain model. The results showed that the calculated crystallographic characteristics of the platelet precipitates L1 2 -(Al, Ag) 3 Ti coincides well with the experimental results. This indicated that the invariant line theory is effective in the face-centered cubic/face-centered tetragonal system.
