Popis: | A new phenolic compound 1 was isolated from Viburnum fordiae Hance by repeated column chromatography. Its structure was identified as 7,8-bis-O-isopropylidene-dihydroeugenol (1) by spectral analysis. In addition, compound 1 was evaluated in vitro for its antifungal activity. It was found to exhibit moderate activity against Aspergillus niger. |
