Popis: Summary. The purpose of the study is — analysis of the sources of domestic and world literature with the study of modern approaches to the complex surgical treatment of purulent long-term non-healing wounds (PLTNHW). Research tasks — according to the literature, to determine the possibilities of surgical treatment at the present stage in patients with PLTNHW. Conclusions. Thus, to date, significant progress has been made in the surgical treatment of PLTNHW. Numerous diagnostic and therapeutic methods can significantly improve the results of surgical treatment of PLTNHW, but they are not without some disadvantages. In this regard, the development and implementation of new approaches and modern methods for diagnosing pathological changes and the effect on the wound process using modern developments and technologies is relevant.
