Popis: | Thermodynamic theory (Landau-Devonshire) of ferroelectric thin films undergoing first order phase transition is applied to calculate the influence of imperfection surface layer and film thickness on the critical temperatures namely superheating tsh and supercoling tsc. The numerical results show that the effect of imperfect surface layers and film thickness are to increase the value of tsh and tsc. |
