| Popis: | Methods for automatic detection of target areas from SAR images have been investigated. Algorithms have been developed for extraction of regions such as lakes and urban areas and linear features such as roads, rivers, bridges. These methods, at present, are mostly based on gray level and gradient thresholding schemes. A comparision of the experimental results is presented. |
