Texas Instruments has designed a complete family of coolers for these tactical applications and has completed qualification programs successfully for two of these designs. Tested were the cryocoolers for the Integral Detector Assembly (IDA) and the Javelin antitank missile system’s Command and Launch Unit (CLU).
