In Kizilin, one of the cave caves of Antalya, situated on the western Taurus Mountains in Antalya, it was necessary to collect a large number of materials seen on the surface during the opening of the excavation area and environmental regulation studies in 2017. Analysing studies on these findings, which are very qualified in terms of technotypological, gave important results. Determination and presentation of the technological and typological characteristics of the chipped stone finds obtained as a result of these studies made in 2017 constitute the main purpose of this work. After the technotypological identification of the chipped stone material obtained as a result of the survey collection from this settlement, it is also aimed to compare the material obtained from the other settlements in the region. As these comparisons are made, because there is no date from the Kizilin, interpretations will be made comparatively technologically and typologically. The findings obtained from the systematic excavations to be carried out in the following years and the results to be obtained from these findings are very important for determining the location of the settlement in terms of Anatolian Paleolithic. First, the absolute dates from the in-situ strata will play an important role in positioning the chronological location of the chipped stone material. |
