Popis: 2-Substituted 4-chromanones were synthesized in their optically active forms. The chiral intermediates were obtained via lipase-catalyzed enantioselective reactions. Lipase and esterase were also used for the hydrolysis of ester moieties of the precursors of the target compounds under mild conditions.
