Popis: On raising the temperature of homogeneous aqueous solutions at the polypenta- and polytetra-peptides of elastin, these polymers undergo self-assembly to form fibers. By means of photon correlation spectrometry, this report provides initial insights as to how relatively disordered polymeric coil diameters interpenetrate prior to association to form fibers.
