Popis: Advanced automated solar cell interconnection processes are being developed to reduce the cost and improve the quality of photovoltaic modules. A study was done to estimate and compare the costs of silicon solar cell interconnection processes under three manufacturing scenarios: manual, semi‐automated, and fully automated production. Results of the study, including sensitivity analyses of cost to production level, labor rate, cell power, yield, and uptime, are presented.
