Popis:	The possibilities of research on mathematical models with a large number of parameters using pattern recognition methods are discussed in this paper. Research of models through construction of phase and parametric portraits is the basic approach, which makes it possible to solve state prediction and control problems for objects described by the mathematical models being investigated and also analyze and study the problems arising due to a particular model's content. To illustrate the possibilities of research, three mathematical models are taken as examples.
