Popis:	Gross differences were observed among different laboratory colonies of Aedes aegypti (L.) in their response to the human palm. The response was measured by mosquitoes landing and probing and those flying in a 1 ft3 cage over a 1-cm-diameter hole in the bottom, under which the palm was exposed. Some mosquito colonies responded very actively, others very slowly, and the difference in the mean response between the active and slow mosquito colonies was significant ( P
