Popis: In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, learning in North Central Timor (TTU) district which is conducted online and onsite with limited learning media has caused a decline in student motivation and learning achievement. The creative education model with the Learning Together (LT) approach is an alternative solution. This study aims to obtain an overview of the effectiveness of the LT approach based on the local culture “Tok Tabua” and “Meup Tabua” in learning at class 6 of SDK Ponu, TTU. The main material used in this study is Chapter 2: Indonesian Republic Government System from the Civic Education book for Elementary School and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah class 6, written by Sunarso and Anis Kusumawardani (2008). The subjects in this study were 27 students for the academic year 2019/2020. Data collection techniques are document review, observation, interviews, tests, and questionnaires. Learning outcomes are measured by increasing learning motivation and achievement of learning outcomes obtained from observations, written tests, and teacher and student interviews. The results show that there is an increase in motivation and student learning outcomes in terms of cognitive and affective aspects. Based on the cognitive test in cycle 1, the percentage of student learning completeness is 80.05, while for the affective assessment the percentage of completeness is 75.10 with a class average value of 77.57. In cycle 2, the assessment based on cognitive tests, the percentage increased to 84.12 and on the affective test 83.51 with a class average score of 83.81. In cycle 3, cognitive aspects are 84.78, affective aspects are 85.01 and the class average score is 84.89. These results indicate the LT approach is effective in the learning process at TTU.
