Environmental impact of any kind of business activity is one of the major issues according to the green logistics concept. The global logistics tends to reduce pollution and energy consumption in the purpose of saving natural resources for future generations and optimize different kinds of activities to achieve this goal. In this paper we analyse the energy market in Poland with the aim to present the energy indicators and their evolution during years, what allows for generalized interference within the scope of green logistics. According to the conclusions from forecasting and analytic works presented in the document "Polityka energetyczna Polski do 2030 r." [The energy policy in Poland until 2030], it is assumed that the national consumption of electric energy will increase by 80-93 %. Thus, it is assumed that the society's dependence on the electric energy will increase and this emphasizes the significance of electrical power engineering in the energy infrastructure of the country. The article constitutes an attempt to assess selected elements characterising the Polish energy market. For that purpose, selected quantitative methods which assess the dynamics and correlation were used, and dynamic econometric models were constructed which described these elements both in cause and effect and autoregressive terms. On the basis of the constructed models, forecasts for next years were prepared, assessing at the same time the errors in these forecasts. The information received as a result of the applied methods may constitute a basis for assessing the situation in the energy market in Poland and at the same time for assessing whether the signals transmitted by the environment were properly analyzed by the entities pursuing the objects of the energy policy. |
