Popis: | The structural behaviours of nanoporous carbon (NPC) fabricated from rice husk were investigated. NPC was fabricated by KOH activation from rice husk ash. Water, iodine (I2), and styrene solutions were selected as adsorbed materials for the NPC, which changed from an amorphous structure to a regularly arrayed structure with the adsorption of water molecules. This was confirmed by a change in the d02 layer-layer distance. The same phenomenon was observed with adsorption of both the I2 and styrene solutions. Furthermore, regularly arrayed graphenes were observed by TEM in styrene-adsorbed NPC. The existence of irregular graphenes was confirmed, and a structural model for NPC was proposed. |
