Popis: Potholes are a universal problem in India faced by any given city and state. Thus, to address this serious issue we propose a system where we give the power of repairing the infrastructure in the hands of the tax paying citizens. This is a three phased system which includes users, problem administrator and municipal authority. The user can locate the pothole and click images of the pit based on the given guidelines and report it to the problem administrator of the respective area. The administrator has an admin panel in which he receives all the pothole related issues and authorise the repairs, he can also review the issues based on severity, locality and progress. The user can further check the progress of the pothole and lodge a serious complaint to the municipal authority if the issue remains unattended or the repairing is delayed. This system aims at collecting data of the roadway given by the user using GPS, then processes it using stereoBM. Multiple users need not report a similar pothole complaint they have an option of upvote and downvote which eliminates the problem of data redundancy. This feature reduces the server load which makes it faster and more efficient making it capable of large-scale implementation.
