Bi-directional Sensitivity Analysis in Integrated Electricity-Natural Gas System

Popis: In this paper, an analysis method of sensitivity matrix for integrated electricity-natural gas system (IEGS) with gas-fired generator as energy coupling component is proposed to analyze the bidirectional impact induced by the fluctuations of power and gas loads. First, based on gas flow dynamical model, state transition matrix of gas transmission dynamics is researched, reflecting the relationship between the state variables, such as mass flow rates and node pressures at the evolving time instants in natural gas network. Then, with state transition matrix of gas dynamics and DC power flow model, two sensitivity matrices of IEGS, i.e. gas node pressures to power loads and branch power flows to gas loads, are developed to reveal the interactive influences between the two energy sub-systems. An IEGS, consisting of an 8-bus 9-branch electricity grid and a 15node 14-branch gas network coupled by a gas-fired generator, is established to validate the proposed method.
