The deterioration of the ecological state on the territory of the Perm Krai is associated with an intense technogenic impact on the environment. Currently, in the practice of nature management there is no single, generally accepted method for the integral assessment of these impacts, and therefore the managerial decisions made are usually aimed at solving particular environmental problems (for example, the “Clean Water” program). The article proposes a method for calculating the integral index of environmental well-being (IES). It is based on technogenic impacts on all components of the natural environment with the obligatory consideration of the consequences of this impact on public health. The main results of using the methodology are given on the example of administrative-territorial units (ATU) of the Perm Krai: problem areas are identified for socially significant and priority environmental problems. The identified problems and established relationships between them and morbidity rates will make it possible to objectively outline environmental and socially significant measures aimed at improving the health of the population in the context of ATU and can be used in the development of environmental policy, and, consequently, in making management decisions. |
