Coronary heart disease is the most dangerous heart disease worldwide, and its morbidity and mortality rates are rising. Aspirin is the most clinically used anti-platelet-aggregation agent, preventing thrombosis and reducing the incidence of cardiovascular events. Accordingly, the development of drug-delivery systems containing aspirin is an urgent problem to be solved. In this study, PLGA microspheres with excellent biocompatibility were prepared based on the emulsification–volatilisation method by using aspirin as a drug model. PLGA/aspirin microspheres had small size, high sphericity, and high drug-loading rates. Its therapeutic activity and nursing application value against coronary heart disease were evaluated, and the related mechanism was explored. |
