Popis: | for last decades we can see a big continuous growth of renewable energy, such as solar and wind, also increase in domestic demand with visible correlation with climate is observed. To avoid imbalances jeopardizing system stability actions to introduce new energy storage and demand response technologies are taken. The contribution of this paper is to create a detailed model of effective industrial load shifting using Battery Energy Storage System - BESS. BESS load shifting performance is determined by the availability of accurate load curves and optimization approaches. Using our model and simulation results we are aiming to develop control strategy and to achieve a maximum economic effect for the chosen enterprise. Control strategy will be applied to the 100 kWh demonstration in Riga, Latvia. |
