| Popis: | It is well recognized that all the problems that have affected the PWR steam generators cannot be solved only by good material selection. Nevertheless, the alloys that have been, or could be, selected by the different vendors show marked differences in the required mechanical and thermal properties and in their resistance to corrosion in normal or faulted operating conditions. The purpose of this paper is to compare these properties and show how they meet the requirements of steam generator application. 43 refs. |
