Popis: | An NMR spin-echo apparatus for the measurement of self-diffusion by the steady-gradient technique is described. Particular attention was paid to reducing errors. A reproducibility of ±1% was obtained and the overall accuracy is estimated as ±2%. Data for the self-diffusion coefficients of water in aqueous NaCl, NaI, KI, and MgCl2 solutions at 10 and 25°C and in aqueous BaCl2 solutions at 25°C are reported. |
