Popis: | 1. Mechanical models were developed for a calculated analysis of the contact interaction in the needle bearing of an upper connecting rod end taking into consideration out-of-roundness and bending of the piston pin. 2. Significantly nonuniform loading of the rollers along the axis of the piston pin and in the direction perpendicular to it (transverse) was established by a calculation-experimental method. 3. A design of upper connecting rod end of increased rigidity decreasing the nonuniformity of distribution of the contact load from 2.4 for the standard to 1.3 times and reducing its maximum by 21%, which increases bearing life by 1.8 times, is proposed. This makes possible a further increase in diesel power. |
