Popis: | Classification of technical and economical information (CTEI) in computer-integrated manufacture (CIM) ensures an exchange of external and internal information, grouping of objects (articles, products, tools, etc.) according to the similarity of their essential features and their systematization, specialization and co-ordination of work of all parts of the CIM, analytical activity and recognition of products. The product design and technology classifier (DTC) plays an important role in the CTEI system because its application makes an impact on all stages of the product life cycle, from marketing to withdrawal and from operation and part utilization. This paper presents a systematized list of requirements to the CTEI as an object of CIM dataware and a list of problems that are caused by these requirements. The automated design-and-technological classification system (ADTCS) built at the I. V. Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy is an example of how the above problems can be solved. The article gives a description of the computer ADTCS and defines its applications in CIM. |
