Popis:	Summary - Embryogenic cell suspension cultures of two Musa spp., the cooking banana cv. Bluggoe (ABB group) and the wild BB diploid Musa balbisiana , have been preserved in liquid nitrogen. The frozen suspension cultures were regenerated into plants through somatic embryogenesis. This procedure seems to be promising for the long-term preservation of Musa germplasm.
